Back in the late 70's, all us early Star Wars fans had to keep us going was the Marvel Comics. The very first story arc after the movie adaptation was a blatent rip-off of the Seven Samurai with Han Solo and Chewie leading a group of loveable losers against a bandit gang and giant lizard.

The comic introduced some really wacky characters like Don-Wan Kehotay (groan), FE-9Q (aka Effie), The Starkiller Kid (someone's been reading the original Star Wars script), Hadji the porcupine man, the space harlot Amaza and her boyfriend and possibly the best Star Wars EU character ever created, Jaxxon the Lepus Carnivorus. These characters are too great to be forgotten. Hasbro needs to get on the ball and make the eight!
