Background:
Manami was raised as one out of many, many, many children. His family was extremely strict and he never felt at home with them. Not only where they strict they where also unloving and abusive. The only one he ever felt truly comfortable with was his cousin Goro, however Goro seemed to be the perfect child that did exactly as his parents wanted while Manami was often seen as a weakling. He did not want to fight his brothers, he wasn’t even sure if he truly wanted to be a ninja. For 9 years he put up with all the abuse. It broke his heart to have to leave behind his favorite cousin, however he could not take it. It was death or running away and being viewed as a traitor, a weakling and a coward. He chose the latter, he packed up some things, left a note for Goro and left.
Manami wandered around for a long time, unsure of where he should even really go. All he knew is he couldn’t let himself be hit or belittled any longer. He regretted his decision for some time, but he knew no matter what that he could not go back. It didn’t take long for Manami to find a new home. As he had been strolling on a beach an old unfamiliar man found him. They ended up being able to talk and Manami told him all about his home situation. The old man, named Junpei Akate was extremely nice and asked Manami if he wanted to come back to his village. Manami jumped at the opportunity and set sail with his new family.
Junpei was strict towards Manami, however for as strict as he was he was also very affectionate which is what Manami needed to blossom. Junpei, who Manami refered to as ‘fisher papa’, was able to get Manami into the Umigakure academy and he was able to become a ninja after all. Manami is physically very strong, he is determined to be strong so he can protect those he loves. Mentally he is still a nice guy that will go to the world and back for anyone he cares about. Manami helped Junpei and the others rebuild the village as they had just come out of a civil war. He was finally at home.

Personality:
Gentle, kind hearted, protective. Naïve, soft, self-conscious

Weapons: water style jutsu’s, standard weapons

Strength(s): Manami is an extremely kind hearted person that will always look for a way to settle conflicts without violence. He will braid your hair and talk to you and help you with anything you need help with. If he cares about you he will protect you with his life and he will not stop fighting until he’s sure you are out of trouble.

Weakness(s): Due to his kind hearted nature Manami is extremely naïve and will often trust people too quickly, he will be a push-over and let people walk all over him. Due to how he was raised he is also extremely self-conscious and doubts his own every move.
