Either I'm just going to the forest at the wrong time or this species is incredibly rare where I live. This is a yellow staghorn. A jelly-like fungus that grows all year round on decaying conifer wood, but is mostly seen in autumn. Locally, we ironically call this a "common" goldenfork. It does look pretty striking with that color and shape, don't you think?🍄🍂
