me and CarpeNatem made up a little story that goes with this, but I wanna let you guys brainstorm on what's going on it involves older Sonic & Sally, dealing with a stressful moment in life.this was a little doodle I came up with, but I ended up colouring it lol

it has something to do with Sonic being very reckless, this picture has a huuuuge backstory behind it and I really didn't feel like typing it all out XD I just made it so people could let their imaginations fly, and I'm loving the responses I'm getting that's for sure XD

their first child in mine and my friend's AU was born at a difficult time, Sonic never being around to take care of him or see Sally. Sally leaves the FF and works from home, taking care of their son. Sonic decides that they should bring them out to the outside world to play, it's dangerous and all out there, so they never have till now. Eggman's robot takes him, and they freak out (obviously), going to save him from the evil Eggy's clutches.
they get him back safe and sound (him having some minor cuts and scratches from the robot) and Sally freaks out at Sonic for being reckless, bringing him outside when he shouldn't be out there.

Ah...cool. Though I'm a bit surprised that Sal would basically retire-OH MY GOD! I just realized that Sonic and Sally are basically Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat!
Man, I hope they don't break up (AGAIN) like the Cage family did in MKX.
Oh god, I hope you make a SonAlly/MK crossover pic with Sonic as Johnny and Sally as Sonya. It just makes so much sense, their chemistry is exactly the same! Lovable douchebag with super serious solider girl.

She doesn't really retire, she works from home now because she has a son to take care of. She still does lots for the crew, implementing plans and whatnot when she can. We figured we'd add the fact that they "by accident" have a child when they are in a rough period when stuff is still going on. Makes it more interesting! We have a HUGE backstory for all this, it's really fun and you'll probably see much more stuff about it in the next little while.
I have no idea who those people are XD I never really got into MK for some reason, but I've heard good things about MKX and my boyfriend plans on getting it here soon.

Look up any cenimatic from MK9 or MKX with Johnny Cage and Sonya in it, MK9 especially, and I think you'll agree that they interact the exact same way Sonic and Sally would if they never knew each other before hand. Also if Sonic was somehow douchier and actively perused women that caught his eye.
I can totally see Sonic from the old cartoons tattooing his own name or catch phrase on his chest if the series was more teen directed.
