Just a typical stormy sky in that region. Really intense and contrasts in post-processing help it stand out.

Hold up. Is this a real picture? This looks like a gosh darn painting! Did you use coloring on the photo? If not, this is one heck of a shot. Even if you did use coloring, it's still a great shot.
