ALSO ON MY NEW CALENDAR! Raised by Trees • 2016
A centennial Platanus, guarding the entrance to the Convent of the Capuchos , in Sintra, Portugal.
The tree is in the entrance, on the Terreiro das Cruzes, which represents the place of Jesus's crucifixion, the Golgotha.
This convent was built in the 16th century and is as beautiful as it is mysterious.
Under this ancient tree it's great for relaxing, especially on a hot summer day.

im abit from the other-side and paint instead of photography. But even to my untrained eye ( to photography), this piece look marvelous. As, the amount of light captured and the tones in this promote a very warming feel to this. Even though the tree may be alittlebit on the scary side- still the camera settings used has displayed it in warmer terms...
