Description
This is a beautiful and intriguing place, deep in the highlands of southern Brazil.
The region was home to indigenous tribes, who told tales of Inca visitors from the far away Andes.
There are many evidences of ancient worshipping, mostly still waiting for proper study.

It's no surprise the ancients felt so strongly about this region.
Rock walls extending all the way into the horizon, as high as 500m, should make anyone feel humble and small.
Not only that, there are also these pyramidal structures, like the one in the back, accentuated by the fog that morning.

Incas in Brazil? Don't know for sure... but they'd surely love this view.

Urubici, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Altitude approx. 800m.

Enjoy and leave a thought...

Wow, I love the colours and the contrast between the clarity in the foreground and the disturbance in the background.

Thanks my friend. I had to take advantage of the fog and pyramid in the background and was fortunate to find a nice foreground subject before everything changed. Glad you enjoyed
