Character Bio Sheet (Water in Moonlight)

Name: Deric

Nicknames: Der

Age: 29 in Terran years

Birthday: August 13, 3026

Home: The Planet Meria

Race: Merian (Merians are mermaid like beings and are the indigenous race of the planet, they live entirely under the water, form social groups just like Terrans (humans) and rarely interact with the Terrans now living on their homeworld)

Occupation: Hunter

Skin Tone: pale – almost whitish skin

Eye Color: dark green

Facial features: kindof angular with a strong jaw, high cheekbones, and small thin lips

Hair Color/style: his dark sky blue hair goes to just below his shoulders and is in shaggy layers. He keeps his bangs pulled back and off his forehead.

Tail: his tail is almost turquoise in color with various shades of different color blues scales mixed throughout and is similar in style to Serie’s with the frilled tail fin, and lower dorsal fin. His pelvic fins are kindof short and solid and are of a very pale pale green.

Build: Strong, kindof buff, muscular and tall. 6’9” from tip of head to tip of tail fin

Scars and/or Birthmarks: has a small set of sucker marks from an octopus from when he was young along his left hip right above his scales.

Personality Traits: sees himself as trustworthy and loyal to those he loves. Respectful of others, strong, compassionate, tends to show all his emotions and feelings to show. Very fierce if provoked.

Likes: exploring with Theron, hunting, lazing about when he can and leaqring about the things Theron brings back to his cave from the topside.

Hates: bullies, misunderstandings, what he thinks of as his shortcomings, inability to help his best friend, and the council of the clan for turning Theron away after his mother died.

Fighting Style: very skilled with spear, lance, daggers and such. Trained very hard to be a protector and hunter for the clan

Attire-
Upper Body: just an armband on his left arm showing his hunter status (is made from a thick sea creature hide – haven’t really gotten specific with it yet) adorned with a set of crossed small bones. (this is after he becomes a young adult)

Lower Body: a single strand of small beads in black gray and white around the base of his tail (was a gift from his chosen)

Misc. Charms and Trinkets: wears a hanging shell earring in 1 ear and a simple black pearl in the other (only got these after he became a young adult by Merian standards)

Equipment: usually carries a short spear with him every where, and almost always has a small dagger strapped to his left wrist. (again only after he becomes a young adult)

Notes-
Deric is very loyal and protective of Theron. Has always hated how the clan treated him and his mother after he was born. Has never treated Theron any different even after he found out he could turn into a Terran
