Excuse me, but im kind of new at using non-mspaint lineart I've already downloaded the file now how to I color it so that the shading and everything isn't covered?

No problem, I will try to explain.
Okay first do you use photoshop or gimp (or something else)
Anyway you have different layers. One for lineart, another one for color, one for background, shadows ect.
One is called "Base Tiger", click on it (only once) then you can star coloring.
I already prepared it, so that you only color inside the lineart.
