The story is simple but, I'm a little confused by the first chapter. It feels like you're trying to bring too very different plots together, both the dream and the reality. Try boiling your ideas into something more concise so that you are able to tell me what chapter one is about in one sentence. Drawing wise, you should try drawing backgrounds (knowing that these are the hardest things to draw in any manga). A background can really describe your atmosphere more clearly. A space usually suggests a void.
