The background lighting in particular is what attracts me. It's dang nifty.

Great job man, really nice rendering and mood! Especially like the creature in the background. My only crit here would be to check out her left arm, it looks abit wonky, like the elbow joint is pointing fowards the viewer. Still a grea piece regardless, nice one ;D
