Here's the latest image. I managed to get the image to read within the first 10 mins or so... I then spent the rest of the night making variations and messing about with perspective by warping the image. After a couple of texture and detail passes I messed around with hue and levels until I was happy with the mood. I think the tilted camera angle helps communicate the scale of the structure.
