I saw the animation and it made me want to cry!! It was so sad!! Do they have names? And where did the girl get the you know what at the end!! Ahh! Kinda creepy lolz
But I was thinking, it made me want to write a story about them! may I?

well it had a meaning like:
"i sacrifice myself for you" kinda meaning.
try to feel the meaning behind the story not understand it. my sister for instance saw the movie and said but if he can throw a coal piece from above the glass then why not climb up... now that is so naive in many ways... she didn't understand the motive behind the animation also note that the girl is right handed and the guy is left handed and she cuts off her left hand for him so as to mean that she is donating something that she wont need in order for they to continue to draw...

Lol since it was anime, it wasnt supposed to be scary, and kinda send a connection...because in reality, if your friend gave you her arm...I would run like hell xD

no because the guy is a lefty and she is a righty she donates her arm which she does not use but that he needs in order to continue to draw... its like she is saying " I love you,I give my arm for you..."

i think she wants to donate him her left arm, so that he can draw with her again, cause she's right-handed and he's left-handed, that means she can draw without her left arm as well, but he can't
(just my interpretation, i dunno whether it's wright or wrong)
