I wonder how a visual novel will look like in tagalog/filipino...(I used a scene from the visual novel I discontinued last year)
Ceil: Player
Mikado: Right
Carmine: Left
Translation:
Ceil: "Can't I get your numbers or something? It's easier to meet up that way."
Mikado: "Uhmm... Well..."
Carmine: "Here's the thing. We don't really fancy giving our numbers to random people."
Ceil: "Ohh, okay."

I think it'll be kinda weird, maybe because we're not used to seeing novels like this in tagalog. But still, I'm sure it will be a fun read.

I'm guessing it's kinda awkward because the people who's supposed to be speaking Tagalog doesn't look the part. (too foreign?)

HAHA. WOW. still. i think it'd gain a market. at least here. it'd be interesting to see eroges here. though you'd lack voice actors-...unless you have contacts. i don't...see much... variety in the voice actors on TV.
damn. i'd play that. a nice way to read a book too. visual novel's still a novel. after all.

Bisaya has too many languages.
Even in luzon the provinces have languages that are mixed in with tagalog (Or something, I'm not entirely sure.)
But it is the major language in the Philippines. Easier for others to understand. (imo)

let's just say that the national language is Filipino. Tagalog and Bisaya are dialects. :>

Tagalog and Bisaya are also languages since they are different from each other and have their own grammar rules and vocabulary. That is why Filipino is the 'national language'. We have more than 100 'regional languages'. Tagalog has dialects like the Southern Tagalog.
