I 'm not quite sure how to describe my opinion about the usage of colors. All I can say is that I really like how you incoperated the whole of the white background. It blends, but yet it doesn't. Great use of the blood pool to make the girl stick out.

My expert analysis:
That's actually a paintbrush and she he slipped and fell in a puddle of the red paint she spilled earlier, thereby getting paint all over herself, falling unconscious, and sending the brush halfway across the room. (The paint does not splatter much due to its very high viscosity)
Oh and she loves her white dress, white room, and 1500kW light bulb.
It's an interesting piece, I'll say. The only down side is that I can't use it as a wallpaper for fear of blinding myself when I viewing my desktop.
