Black Rock Shooter, RWBY, Rakuen Tsuihou: Expelled from Paradise, 009 Re:Cyborg, Knights of Sidonia - all anime, all CG; and those are just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head - there are a few more animes that I have seen that are entirely CG.
Not to mention that a very large portion of traditional 2D anime contain 3D CG scenes between their traditional 2D animation; Future Diary did this with the 'Deus Ex Machina' character, Girls und Panzer did this with the tanks, in fact, pretty much every mech, robot or vehicle you see in an anime will likely be done in 3D CG instead of traditional 2D animation.
Are all my examples not to be considered anime now because they contain CG? Not a chance in hell. You see, in my opinion, anime is merely a Japanese animation art style and as such can be created and presented by anyone in any medium - be it hand-drawn 2D or 3D CG - as long as it stays true to the visual guidelines that have been established over the years as being the 'standard' for anime style.
So, that said, I suggest you stop making ignorant statements on topics that you have no idea about.

The more recent version of Appleseed and Appleseed: Ex Machina were also 3D/CG.
In fact, if I remember rightly, Appleseed was one of the earlier attempts to use motion-capture for anime.

Outside of japan, yes, "anime" refers to japanese animations, but "anime" itself is just "Cartoon/animation" in japanese.
