Eh, I think your 3D work is rather lackluster compared to your 2D animations. But that's just my opinion I guess.

3D animation and 2D animation are really rather hard to compare.Β 2D animation you draw it by hand. 3D animation is TOTALLY different and far more like trying to use a very limited puppet to animation. NO comparison. The concepts are the same (twelve principles of animation, visual fidelity, etc.) but the skillsets (ability to use maya/Unity/etc vs flash and ability to draw) are COMPLETELY different. It always impresses the hell out of me when someone can do both. Props to Mikeinel !
(PS: There's a difference between constructive criticism and just flat out criticizing for no reason. Saying "I think your 3d stuff sucks" is just juvenile criticism. Try CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.)

Whoa there guy.
1. Don't assume people around you are retarded. I know what 3D animation is. I've been doing it myself since 3 years ago and 2D animation since I was like 12. So please get that insulting attitude out of here.
2. Just because I said 'lackuluster' doesn't mean the same I say it SUCKS. You're projecting here. Like most DA users tend to do, which is why I comment less. Over-dramatising is key to winning arguments, right? No, it really isn't.
3. Simply the amount of emotional control he has over his characters in 2D is what makes his artwork shine so well and I love it. I comment on ALL his animations. When I say it works so less here it *IS* constructive critisism, since these 3D lack most of that emotion imo. I just don't need to write 3 chapters about it every friggin time he posts something.Β

I APPROVE! I think it's well-made asΒ a stand alone, but in comparison to the original it doesn't work.
Reason might be that it's just to deviated from it. It's a different style AND a different dimension. That's too much, I guess that's why it's not that convincing.
But when judging only by it's animation it's fluent, intersting perspectives, believable animations and overall fitting.
