I'm from Argentina, and I juuuuuuuust remembered that kiwi may sound kinda despective, especially coming from a total stranger 
It's just that I got used to it because of some... kiwi friends I made during summer... and hey introduced me to Fat Freddy's Drop and Shapeshifter so I'm great debt to them... u___u

haha, all good.. ok some of the fullas that play in those wellington bands all perform in other good bands.
some other music to look out for is Kora, salmonella dub, Katchafire, trinity roots, roots foundation, concord dawn, agent alvin, the upbeats, the aviators
just to name a couple of the top of my head.

hahaha no way, not at all. I'd say its the best city in NZ. Its where I grew up.
I recommend you have listen to those bands if you like shapeshifter and fat freddys.
