I disagree. The PC is broader in use, but by no means better in games. In fact, I'd say every single console bests it in terms of games.

How? My PC can trump every platform in framerate, effect rendering, control, ability to do other stuff, etc. The only thing it doesn't do is handle multiplayer as well (which I don't really care about) and the games are cheaper (or if you know where to go, free). I fail to see how the other consoles are worthwhile - for ~$300 for a new console + games and stuff I could buy half my computer and for double that I have a beast that gives me 50 fps at the fastest games + a digital audio-visual studio + an entertainment juggernaut...

Consoles are just simpler. like I know PCs CAN be allot more powerful than Consoles but that comes at a price in a very literal way, plus PCs need so much more attention cause you need upgrades, software and specific settings just to have them work fine. were as with the Consoles once you set it up your good to go. But there are allot more reasons for Consoles to be better and for PCs as well. this is just one reason among so many for particular people to like consoles more.

good points. maybe I'm just biased because I love my PC, because I had to earn it and also I've never really had a chance to own a console...maybe after my next summer job I'll test run the ps3...or the xbox but not the wii.

Only it's less specific to games, making more room for game-specific elements within the consoles. Also the computer flat out sucks with some game genres (especially platformers).
Next to that consoles have those must-have games that just aren't on PC. From God of War to MGS4 to Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda.
And yeah they're still cheaper.

And I have played all of those games that you've mentioned, the only one I consider to be better than Half-Life is the Legend of Zelda series. The rest are close, with the exception of God of War, which doesn't even belong there. Just a hack-and-slash for the mindless kiddies out there like you.

You sir, are a wortless piece of trash that wishes he could call himself a gamer. I, friend, have been judging games with care since the NES. I know my video games. I've studied all consoles. Storyline may improve a game, but it doesn't make the game. The game play does that.
God of War was a random example from PS3 as to not seem biased, as many say it's one of the best games on there. I do not own it and I haven't played it. Whatever you say is probably true for that matter.

Actually it's not :Y And that's something you're probably not going to have to live with considering you live in a fantasy world. You obviously don't live in the same world as the rest of us, where HL2 has won over 40 PC GOTY awards. And OBVIOUSLY you don't live in the same world, where HL2 holds the Guinness World Record for the "Highest Rated First Person Shooter by PC Gamer magazine". Obviously this game is generic in your world, but it's not in the real world
And my initial point was not to say consoles weren't worth the trouble, only that the PC was MORE worth it. I'm sorry you weren't sharp enough to pick up on my original point, and in the future I'll be sure to spell it out for simpletons so they don't get confused.

Hey, I never said it was a bad game. I know about the awards, as do I know about the ratings. I was judging from MY OWN EXPERIENCE (someone who lives in a fantasy world where only websites know the truth will find the concept difficult), I thought it was fairly generic. 'Course, once more, it wasn't bad. But the games I mentioned are far more artistic and original in my eyes. And more fun.
You stated it bluntly enough for anyone to interpret it like so. A lot of people are apparently simpletons for not getting the fact that you said "black and white" but meant "grey".

when you say "more attractive" you mean her boobs are ginormous. And the characters are meant to represent the controlers, so I'm sure just like the sleeker straighter wii remote, she is not ver curvy, unlike a PS3 which is more bulky and rounder.
