Description
1946 Kaibab Paiute Lodge Restroom Facilities Addition at Pipe Spring National MonumentA fictional setting faithfully recreated from an actual dream in which I was part of a detailed tour of this interesting time capsule of mid-20th century southwestern-inspired tourist kitsch.
[Please feel free to download the super-detailed image at 17250 x 9375 @ 55MB]
Showcasing modern day continual restoration and preservation of original, period-accurate 1940's- 1950's chrome-laden, vitreous porcelain bathroom fixtures and original (as within fictional dream-derived pretext) thematic decoration and artworks by artists from the Paiute, Navajo, Hopi and Havasupai tribal communities. The restroom was located on the second floor of the lodge building and the greater facility would presumably be under the joint auspice of the National Park Service, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and local tribal nation oversight. Amenities include ADA-compliant accommodations, adjoining shower facilities and lockers.
Every detail from the dream was committed to memory and written down then modeled in Blender and Moment of Inspiration. Rendered in Blender Cycles and Mural work created in Verve Painter
