This sketch is one of the part of my future planned experimental comic.

As a child, Nodii lost his family, during a raid by a hostile nation, which was carried out to capture the territory. The fox by the way, was saved thanks to a small detachment of valiant warriors of the wolfs Sakurai, who were able to fight off the invaders. Only Nodii was left alive, so wolves out of pity took him into his care. Although Sakurai only accept wolves, but this fox has become an exception. From the very moment of his salvation, he began to learn everything that the Sakurai warriors are capable of. Although he was able to take root in a non-standard environment for him, some wolves, for obvious reasons, still did not accept relatively as a full member of their warrior community.

After almoust ten years of training, he gained enough experience to be called a full-fledged warrior of Sakurai, but a certain self-confidence and cynicism seeped through him, which is not permissible for a responsible warrior of Sakurai. Because of what, he scored marks of shame on his armor for violating Sakurai codes of honor. The position of Nodii in the Sakurais ranks was rather precarious.
During one of the hired outing, a couple of Sakurais and Nodii were going to threaten one man, so he would not hurt one family anymore. The target desperately tried to hide during the pursuit of the Sakurai, and as a result, Nodiy overtakes the target with a closed wooden structure and begins to threaten the target. Under strong pressure, the target talked about the envelope, and at the same time about the Sarcophagus, the repository of the ancient people from legends, in which all their valuable finds and giant creatures guardians protect them. Surprised by this turn of events, he continued to question him, learning that the envelope contains the name of the one who knows the location of one of the Sarcophagus. Nodii is imbued with the idea of finding an ancient warehouse with unimaginable treasures and of the victory over the world's giant strongest creature, which will give “eternal glory”. However, his allys tell him that he is forget oneself, this is complete madness and not their business at all, so they only need to complete the task. And at this moment, the "Grin" grouping attacks them, starting to fire at the wall with gunpowder weapon, thereby killing the target of Sakuraev. The warriors themselves dodge and decide to retreat, because they can do little to oppose firearms.But Nodii decides to get an envelope with information, for which he endangers himself by going directly under fire. One of his comrades-in-arms runs up to help Nodii, who eventually sacrifices himself, having received several shots that pierced his armor. What gives Fox a chance to escape together with his remaining comrades-in-arms taking the envelope with himself.

However, Nodii was facing a tough reprimand at home, in which Leader of the Sarukai accused him of losing his ally's life because that one saving the fox while Nodii was thinking only about his own benefit, forgetting about the safety of his brothers. He violated the code of honor of Sakurai, substituting his fellow life for personal gain, which was the last straw. Nodii is grabbed around the forearm by two warriors, holding it while the Leader puts the finishing touches of the marks of shame on the fox's armor. Now Nodii Kas'an is officially expelled with shame from the ranks of the Sakurais. And with a heavy step, the fox leaves the main hall, at the exit abruptly grabbing a two-sided Naginata as a sign of his displeasure and running away. They did not chase after him.

As a result, he left alone, expelled by his former associates. Nodii became nothing. He was completely devoted to this world and his thoughts. Absolutely free from everything. And the only thing he wanted to do now was to follow his hopes and desires, declaring himself to the whole world, the path to which the very envelope would pave ..

Partially cynical and arrogant fellow. Purposeful, trying to be positive, taking what is happening with ease, quite cunning and often overestimating his abilities and underestimating others.

He handles light weapons well enough, fights well without him, and often uses dexterity in battle when he sees that one force is not enough.

Sakurai is sufficiently well protected by plate armor having two katanas with double-sided Naginata in the arsenal.
