Description
This is my homage to this series that made so many people(including me) start drawing (at least, for me, in a more serious way...), it has something that moved thousands(..or millions..
) all around the world...wanted to say thanks to Mr. Toriyama!! I´m sorry for all the special effects (maybe too many...) I used but, heck...I just wanted you to be able to hear him scream...well,DO YOU?

It is just spot on. The ssj is such a original and powerful concept, when goku trasformed to this state in the darkest hour, when all hope was lost and this music [link] started playing, it was one of the most awe-inspiring moments of my life, he just looks so diffrent when like this, the light penetrates his intire being and you that illustrates perfectly,
i do wonder where akira toryama got the inspiration to the ssj thouge...

The minute you can bring life to a character so well that the watcher gets entranced in it and gets dragged into the seen as if I was watching DBZ is when you are a true artist

This brings back memories. I love how they took whole episodes to power up! It was like they screamed for hours non-stop until their power levels peaked...
and the enemy would always sit there and allow them too! XD

This looks awesome dude! What effects did you use in Photoshop? I've started to figure out the outer glow, btu I don't know quite how to use motion blur. What are the streaks of blured stuff, is thatgausian blur or something and you just did it in certain stipes or something?

well, I used it all here, motion blur, gausian blur, and hte smudge tool, whatever works man, try it all man, the are no right way to do it, jus see what fits you the most!

This is so true. DBZ was the show that got me drawing and drawing was all i did. Without DBZ, i think my life would be COMPLETELY different, i would have a totally different future.

Awesome. It would be cool if they did a new series using goku jr and vegeta jr, learning about their saiyan heritage and all that, with the ghosts of goku and vegeta guiding them, or pan and tarble.
