I actually thought so, I just wondered because the sillouette of the explosion is very similar to lavos (of chrono trigger fame)...and that would be amazing, since both goku and lavos are designed by toriyama!

But till goku is also silver age of manga too.. And his laser is much bigger.

True, true. But I remember one episode Goku, being lame, had to escape from the gravity of a sun.
Whereas I remember a comic in Silver Age, in which Superman, being manly, swam into a star and made earplugs from the core. (Actually true; it makes more sense in context.)
