Both 2010's Liu Kang and Firegod Liu Kang exist in this universe.The gray-haired Liu Kang lost Kitana to Sindel as MK9. After the events of MK (2010) he went a separate path from the White Lotus. Since he holds a grudge against Raiden for losing Kitana and Kung Lao. In important moments he helped his friends in the fight against Shinnok.
