Yeah he looks to finely tuned to be wolverine. Needs something feral about him, scars, hair and more wild hair on his head.
The eyes need to be more aggressive too, they appear to solemn and contempt, rather that someone who has a short fuse.
I really like it though, would be interested to see how you approach the suit

Wolverine doesn't have scars because of his mutation to heal rapidly. Other than that, I agree.

I love his anatomy, He doesn't exactly look like a bodybuilder, which is great. Rather, its like every muscle you rendered looks weathered and matured ( if that makes any sense). Great job on the skin tones and texturing!

Other than that, top notch work! I like the strongman look better than the body builder physique he's generally portrayed with.

While the sculpt is seriously great, it just doesn't scream "Wolverine" to me... other than the claws & facial hair. Some body hair or something would help... but if you're making a suit, I guess that's pointless.
