It was bound to happen eventually, you thought. Frankly, you were surprised it hadn't happened sooner given that you'd been living with three males for over six months now, and dating one of theirs best friend. That, in itself, was even more troubling. Not once, in your slow-moving relationship with Iwaizumi, had you dreamed of having sexual relations with him, and there had been plenty of times where you had felt the urge (the boy was down-right handsy)...

No.

It had to be Oikawa.

The context of the dream still haunted the forefront of your mind, any other thought persistently interrupted by the sensual way he'd said your name, or the moment in which his fingers... Oh god, your brain was doing it again!

It was freakishly vivid, having woken yourself up by moaning, quickly followed up with a jolt and a desperate prayer no one had been passing by your door. Teased for "missing out" in your high school years, the prudish side of you was shocked you had the ability to make such lewd noises.

The anxiety that came with having your first sex dream was not something you anticipated. Firstly, the need to scold Oikawa for penetrating --no, infiltrating your dream was inexplicably prominent, and had you not been so startled from your deep sleep, you may have inadvertently done so. Luckily, you'd snapped back into reality enough to consider the consequences and quickly realized that would be the worst mistake of your life.

You were sure Oikawa's ego would implode if he knew, which might also lead to him bragging to Iwaizumi even if it meant getting punched in the gut and, less you forget, the endless shame and obnoxious cackles from the other two idiots. In some ways, you feared Kuroo and Bokuto finding out most, and you could almost taste the rancid puns and smell the butt as result of being at the end of all their jokes. Obviously, the best course would be to act as if the dream had never happened and continue about your day as normal.

You were scheduled to work later that afternoon, and you could possibly take yourself out to a cheap lunch just to leave the loft early. That's right; you just had to play it cool and act casually, as to not raise any suspicion. You were simply blowing this out of proportion... They probably had dreams about you all the time, right?

You retched at the idea.

Being an awkward person by nature meant forced normalcy exacerbating aforementioned awkwardness. In your attempt to so much as leave your room, your exit ended up being, what could only be described as, some sort of weird, wet-noodle maneuver; slinking out in a fast, wriggling-against-the-door-frame motion. You hadn't so much as made it an inch down the hall before being attacked from being (pun intended), by a hand on your shoulder.

"Ah, good morning, [Name]-chan!" Oikawa greeted with a bright smile.

Your body seized, and you prayed the brunette didn't notice. Despite the cheery nature of his tone, you could only hear your name dripping with sensuality, heavily in a sigh or a groan-- and not the grumpy kind. Mid-turn, it was also revealed that Tooru had just come out of the shower and chosen to prance around in nothing but a towel around his hips, his hair brushed back from his eyes.

He picked a terrible day to be sexy.

"T-Tooru..." Dear god, had you just breathed his name?

"May I ask a favor from you?"

Oh, god!

"Depends," you muttered, only to be ignored.

"I have a few books that need returned today, and I just haven't the time to stop by. Will you take them into work for me? Maybe even wave the late fee~"

"I thought you said they were due today?"

"Yesterday," he coughed.

You suspected they were far later due than that, but were too distracted on the droplet of water rolling down his shoulder, between his pecs and down his bumpy abdomen. It was no surprise that Oikawa kept in good shape, but your dream forced you to recognize it.

Shit, how long had you been staring?

Double shit; Oikawa noticed.

First, his slender brows knitted and puckered, then his hands went to his hips. Suddenly, you were feeling very warm, Oikawa's hand reaching to press against your forehead,

"[Name], are you feeling alright?"

He picked a terrible day to be kind,

"You look... more air-headed than normal."

Close enough.

Though his hand was nowhere near, you could only re-imagine it cupped around your cheek and his thumb hooked inside your mouth. Your gut churned and your cheeks swelled with humiliation, having caught his tongue briefly lick his lips, before carelessly blurting,

"What're you? My mom? Well, put some clothes on, Mom!"

His mien twisted beyond puzzlement, bringing his attractiveness down a few notches. Your expression didn't look much better --perhaps, best described as a rabid animal backed into a corner or, in this case, just the uneven place between your door and the hall-wall. Fortunately, Oikawa flapped his hand disinterestedly, muttering something snarky, no doubt, under his breath about your sanity.

Unfortunately, as Oikawa sauntered away, and before a relieved sigh could exit your pent up aura, your eyes met with a freshly awoken Kuroo, leaned against his door frame. Again, your spine went rigid --a somewhat standard reaction with Kuroo's slanted, feline eyes and the sliest smirk you had yet to witness in your roommate-hood. He inclined his head suggestively, a dark brow cocked at an supernaturally acute angle.

"What?" You snapped with forced and wavering aggression.

"I have to say, I didn't think you were the type," came his smooth reply. "Who'da thunk it."

"I..." He's bluffing... you hoped, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Kuroo's chest rumbled with a restrained, deep-set chuckle before he pushed himself from the door. The previously known dorkus seemed to glide by, agile and confident, like some kind of entrancing vampire. That facade --or whatever it was, sort of crumbled when he decided to boop your nose,

"Whatever you say, babe."

Despite desperately trying to convince yourself that he was just messing around --that his behavior was just a ruse to find out why you were acting so weird, you discovered you couldn't take the risk by assuming, and whirled around so fast that sweat bounced off your temple,

"Tetsu!"

"Mmmm'yeeees?" He sang with a slow pirouette on his heel.

"You won't . . . you won't tell Tooru that I had a sex dream about him, will you?"

Kuroo's eyes slanted and his grin stretched, "So that's what that was all about."

You and your big mouth! "You mean, you didn't--"

He winked an eye, "Don't sweat it... Your dirty little secret is safe with me. Although... I might need something to keep me quiet."

"How about my fist in your mouth?"

"Kinky. You sure Hajime wouldn't mind?"

"You're insufferable!"

The dream finally became a distant memory after a long, strenuous work day. The library had been bustling with all walks of life from college students preparing for up coming finals (you nearly crapped upon remembering you had studying to do yourself), to children on a school field trip. At one point, you witnessed both a toddler and a boy your age vomit, and you were willing to bet for the same reasons after both their eyes widened at their textbooks. Any other day, you may have perceived witnessing such a grotesque sight as misfortune, but truly it had been the godsend you'd asked for in wiping away the remnants of dream-world intimacy with Tooru.

Now home, and hooked under the arm of Iwaizumi, you were content. The atmosphere in the loft was warm, a few giggles spluttering from your lips at Kuroo's expense, while Oikawa basked in the glory of not being the bullied one for once.

This was what roommates were suppose to do, you thought. Comfort tingled in your centered, and your fingers absentmindedly squeezed Hajime's as a silent "thank you" for his being there to enjoy it with you.

"By the way," interjected Bokuto, hugging a volleyball against his chest. The living room fell silent to listen intently, which had never been done before. It was almost eerie how quickly everyone, in unison, turned their attention to the broad male, following his golden orbs' gaze toward you, "What the hell were you doing this morning?"

Your heart instantly dropped.

Kuroo choked.

Heads turned, alternately between each other, quietly questioning not only you, but Bokuto.

"Did no one else hear it?" He pressed, humorously aghast. "Seriously? Dude! You were moaning so loud--"

Iwaizumi tensed. Whether out of embarrassment, suspicion, or turned on, you weren't sure.

Oikawa raised his brows, mouth forming an amused Ah, "No wonder you were acting so strangely this morning, [Name]-chan... And, Iwai-chan, I'm hurt you felt you had to sneak out. We're all adults--"

"Even if I was here, I wouldn't tell you shit, Trashy-kawa!"

Bokuto howled with laughter, "No, no, no! I checked on her --she was sleeping alone, but--"

"Uh, Bokuto --bro..." God bless Kuroo for trying.

"She was moaning your name, Oikawa! [Name] was having a freaking sex dream with you!"

The grip on your hand was damn near bone-crushing, while Oikawa --not surprisingly, seemed flattered until Iwaizumi glared so coldly even you shivered. Bokuto was rolling on the floor, Kuroo was restraining himself with forced exasperation, and you wished it were possible to sink so far between the sofa cushions you'd never see the light of day again.
