Who kidnapped Roger Rabbit?Okay so I finally drew them all 5 + rabbit in color!
I read one fanfic and this scene of them out in desert with Roger as hostage made me want to draw! I wasn't planning to color this at all but couldn't resist. I'm in WFRR zone these days! Gotta snap out of it for awhile.

It's a shame people seem to care more for CGI films anymore. We really need to get back into the 2-D business. Especially getting back into thinking that cartoon's aren't just for kids.

I agree with you. We should really hope for Princess and the Frog to do well( it should be great film for that to happen tho), and Robert Zemeckis to forget about mo-cap when working on Roger2.

I like this pic more than I let on before. I've been thinking about it off & on all day. I even had to print up a copy. You just did a phenomenal job on the weasels & Roger & their personalities in such a random scene. I've been planning to draw the weasels for a little while now as I've liked them since the movie came out 4000 years ago. .

Yeah, the weasels are what drew me to the movie... they take my mind off of that horrible shoe-killing scene. I really like Wheezy.

The shoe scene is more devastating than scary to me. I was thinking of other ways they could've shown the power of Dip the other day. It would have been less traumatic if maybe Judge Doom force Smart Ass' hand into the Dip or something. Then maybe he could have had a claw or something added on.
Did you ever get any of the Roger Rabbit toys? I always wanted a Wheezy figure but I don't think they ever made one. I have a few Smart"guys" but that's it. I have all the trading cards. Wheezy in like.. 2 or 3 of those. I have a graphic novel of the movie too but the art looks like it was done by someone who's heart wasn't into it.
I looked on eBay and saw they have some snow-globe thing that looks to have the other weasels on it. I didn't wanna pay what they're asking for it though.

yikes! SA's hand into the dip?! That will be kinda traumatic @_@ but it could build a totally different dimension to those weasels. Interesting thought!

Does the art book have weasel pictures?
The trading cards are pretty old. They came out when the movie did. It's just a bunch of scenes from the movie and some stickers. I think I saw a few on eBay the other day.

Tht's soo true. but sadly there's none of it in the book T.T It's a catalog for an auction where they sold cels from production. It's cool to see all drawings without shade and some from the deleted scenes...
They SHOULD make proper artbook with sketches and stuff!

He wrote me back. The art book he has is the same one you have... although, he told me that he actually attended the auction! He even recorded it. He bought a cel also but has since sold it.
He's wanting to sell all of his Roger Rabbit stuff if you're interested.
