hey mann i didnt know you had a DA! your fine art paintings are bomb dude. you should check out Kent Williams for some inspiration, one of my favorite painters. And the mixed media is a mix of, acrylic paints, watercolour, inks, lots of water, matte medium and photoshop for adjusting glare from scanner and enhancing colour. in terms of traditional media in my case its all about timing, certain things react with others based on what was mixed at what point during drying. just play around with different medias on their own and you'll find that certain ones work best with specific subjecct matter or specific aspects of the piece based on the feel you want to achieve. And dude, we should start a thread on Facebook, we should get the old group together.

This is pretty cool.
THe anatomy is much better but still needs work e.g. spawns torse, all the arms. Watch the proportions (predator's arms and legs).
The poses and Spawns cape (at some palces) seem very stiff.
What I do like are the colours. You've done an amazing job with those. And the texture is awesome! love the dark and gritty feel of the work.

thank you for the critique! i don't think ill ever express anatomy to the T. when i sketch i usually exaggerate or adjust to fit the composition rather than reference poses.

you're welcome!
Ok I see what you mean. I know the feeling. I find that its better study anatomy in free time rather than on the spot. These studies will start to creep into your work when you're mind is busy working up new pieces etc.
