Here she is, my favorite female character of Hayao Miyazaki & Studio Ghibli, Naoko Satomi from The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu). I generally don't cry with movies or series, but this is the sixth movie in my life that made me cry, probably because it was Miyazaki's last film and because I was going through hard times. I just love Jiro and Naoko. They are great characters and a great couple too

This movie is like not seeing a kids' movie. Generally, Miyazaki never made the movies for kids in my opinion. I have to watch each movie of his at least twice to understand the whole plot and not miss a detail. He's too genius for me and I love this man.
