A young man who was twisted and manipulated into doing evil deeds through a dark spore inside him. Planted inside him by Myotismon who was inhabiting the body of a man named Oikawa who had longed to see the digital world since he was a child. But life got in the way and Oikawa never got the chance, Myotismon after being defeated in the real world took advantage of Oikawa's desperation and promised to take him to the digital world in return for doing evil deeds. Oikawa was too late to realize that he was being used as a pawn in Myotismon's grand scheme to seek vengeance against the digidestined.

People in life both good and bad have all made poor choices some they felt were for the greater good and others just for the sake of being evil. But like you said, even the most reformed of villains will constantly face reminders of the immoral deeds that they had committed even when they think they have moved on. Also on your point of TK being more of a rival than Ken. I will agree on that. Like his brother before him, TK in Adventure 02 has always relied on doing things more logically when it came to decision making. This puts him at odds with Davis and his hot blooded way of doing things. While Tai's recklessness did put him at odds with Matt and sometimes the rest of the Digidestined, his overall willingness to help others and the fact that he was loyal to his friends and sibling played a large factor into his character development and overall maturing role as a leader. Davis unfortunately never really changes or learns anything which is a shame since he could have learned a lot more about being a leader from Tai's experiences.

At last, you finally finished the Digimon Rivals drawing. It has been a long wait!
I really liked how you draw Yamato, Ken, Jenrya and Kouji so darn cute!! Not so much on Tohma and Kiriha though, but I can understand you can't draw Tohma (btw Kiriha's new hair is almost the same as teen Yamato, making me confused)
However, it should have been Takeru as Daisuke's rival instead of Ken. I see Ken as a sixth ranger, not a second commander in chief or lancer.

Agreed! Seriously, Kiriha reminds me of teen Yamato with his new hair now. Well, he did looked liked a cross of Takeru and Tohma in his previous hairstyle.

Well, where did the idea of a short blonde-haired cool guy came from?
It's obviously Yamato is the first and the original cool badass second-commander, but Takeru is probably close to Tohma's character design, in terms of the hairstyle. So Tohma could be an older version of Takeru with a different style of drawings.
Wow, Bandai Namco/Toei really did many homages to past Digimon seasons in Xros Wars. They really loved to tease the fans so much with these fanservices! :/
