Well at school just before I went home, I decided to quickly do something in their copy of Photoshop 5.5..... and also cause I had a dodgy mouse after being used to a good one and Photoshop 7.0, the results were..... problematic. I have no idea why tails turned some weird manky orange type colour at all, I coloured them normally and if you can't tell, he's crying cause he looks awful, yes the mouse I had to use was that crap. Any how, don't use a version of Photoshop thats lower than the one you're used to WITH a crappy mouse, and don't try to do it in like 15 minutes either, or you'll just get this sorry excuse for art.
