Description The Little Sitkin volcano is one of the 83 volcanoes of the Holocene that make up Alaska and is located on the island of the same name, in the archipelago of the Aleutian Islands, an archipelago in the form of an arc with intense tectonic instability and subject to constant earthquakes. The volcano had its last known eruption in 1850 and since then, it has been dormant, unlike its counterpart; Great Sitkin, which constantly emits large plumes of smoke through the air.
