A small red cat peeks around the bushes to find a grey tom-cat sitting next to the lake. He's slumped over, glaring at the lapping water almost as if it had personally hurt him. She huffs to herself and prances up to the sulking cat."What are you doing out here?" She questions him. He glances at her showing his obvious annoyance with her presence. This amuses her more than concerns.
"You know you're already dead, right? Everyone at the kill pile was whispering about a cat recently joining. Cinderpelt even said it was impossible for you to be here." She cocks her head and looks into his blue eyes. "I don't really understand why. You seem nice." The she-cat almost giggles to herself. To her surprise his scowl softens.
"I'll just sit by you for awhile. At least until you want to talk." She sits softly next to him, wrapping her tail around her feet. "I'm Cherryheart by the way. And you are?"
"Ashfur." He grumbles almost too quiet to hear. Cherryheart smiles and nods in acceptance.
"I think I like you Ashfur."
