“Damn…that workout sure drained my energy and my shoe smells. I haven’t sweat like this in a while! I hope you are enjoying this little bit of fresh air I’m giving you, because I still have 30 minutes left for my workout…then I’ll probably just leave my shoes on for the rest of the day. What? Don’t complain! First of all, you said you wanted to workout with me so this was your idea! Secondly, you are really comfortable on my foot! I might even keep you as my insole for a little bit longer after today. Any complaints? Well even if you do have some I won't listen. After all you are just a tiny little bug who has no say in anything. Anyway, I gotta finish this workout, I hope my smelly sock keeps you warm in my old trainers!”

When she slipped back on her old workout shoes, the smell became worse instantly. The sock she was wearing had been worn for 2 weeks straight. All the sweat and dirt built up on the sock made it really uncomfortable on your face, but you had to endure because you had no choice. Your roommate wasn’t going to listen to your cries. She does not view tiny people as equals, only bugs that should serve her. She only keeps you around, because you can pay rent, otherwise she might have just killed you a long time ago. The more you think about it, death may be better than suffering inside her smelly shoe which she has owned for years.

Several hours go by and it is now the end of the day. You have been suffering inside the shoe, being smothered by the dirty sock for 10 hours straight. The smell from her feet has been imprinted into your brain. No matter how hard you try, you will never stop being able to think about it. Soon, she slipped off her shoes for the night.

“Wow, that smell got much worse in the span of a few hours. Hey…are you still alive in there? I can’t have you quitting on me now, I have good news to tell you! From this day forward, you will be my new insole….Forever! Isn’t that wonderful!....you don’t look too excited…oh well. I am excited about it and that's all that matters! I’ll be taping you to my gym shoes, work shoes, slippers, and flip flops! And when I am not wearing any shoes, you will be taped to my foot. No matter where you go, the smell from my feet will follow you everywhere! Doesn’t that sound like the best life for a bug like you?”
