Sorry for the bad quality guys. I had to take a picture of it with my digital camera.Anyway, this was the dragon that I entered in my state art contest last year. It didn't make it to states, but I still like it.
You might not really be able to tell, but the sphere between its hands was drawn using pointalism.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I haven't really produced my best things recently, but I'm getting back into it a bit more. I did a few new things... Some I'm not very impressed with, but put up to see what would happen...
It's rather ironic... My first pieces are some of my best and favorites and haven't received much attention and the ones that have been somewhat lackluster have been given decent acclaim... I don't get it... o_o? lol.

Yeah, it is bound to happen. I've had many more views come in in the last bunch of weeks... I guess I'm betting out there a bit more... I hope that it keeps on going.

I'm in the process of making Irving seem a bit more human in some ways... I'm experimenting a little to see what I like and don't like... I want to be able to draw the characters the way that I see them in my mind. It'll come, but I want to learn how it all works.

My mind is being inundated with pictures that are all very good... I just wish I could do them now... They are FAR beyond my skill level and I know it... If you've seen really good digital art, then you know that is where I want him to be... It'll come, I know, but I wish I had the talent now to match the idea.
I know what he looks like casually... He looks to be walking towards the viewer with more manga/anime and wolf-type eyes... His facial fur is less wild than I do now... It is more conservative like his beginning pictures and "Leisured Irving." His body is roughly the same... He is wearing Navy blue and gray camouflage pants... He has on a yellow "Navy" T-shirt (very much like the one I own.) and I may have him with sneakers, boots or barefoot. His hands are in his pockets as he looks up with a slight cock in his neck, looking to the right with his golden eyes looking that way as well... The sun is in that direction with shading... He also wears his pendant (I think it will be colored green) and his two earrings in his left ear... You'll also notice the three scars over the right eye and the stitched scar over his right eye, a scar on his nose and a cross-scar on his left side.
Let's just say... I have a very good idea of what I want him to look like.

By the way... Did I tell you about the first romance scene that I established for Irving and Mist? If not, tell me and I'll send it to you. You'll want to listen to the music at a certain point.
I bring that up because I've done it again... This time, it is a reuniting moment... The song sounds somber, but I want to do a version of it where it becomes more upbeat as the two of them come closer together.
The last line has them looking tenderly into one another's eyes as they sing the song's last set of lyrics:
"I just want to feel your embrace."
It comes from a song by Kate Havnevik. It is called "Grace." I like the new version that was done on Grey's Anatomy recently. I used to love the show for the surgery scenes and the laughs. It was nice... I've kinda moved away from it over the last couple of years.
