Description

(This will be my third upload today. I might take a break after this and listen to something other than horror story podcasts for a while.   )

So on the right is Lucky, a llama, and on the left is Lambda, a literal black sheep. (Lambda insists that she was born this way!)

Lucky is a regular, every-day llama. There is absolutely nothing special about him, and he actually sort of hates that his name suggests any sort of good luck. Lucky will sometimes mess with people, though, and tell them "winning" lottery numbers or which machines to use at the casinos, and guarantee that they will win some money just to watch them get angry when they lose.

Lambda is Lucky's girlfriend, a black sheep with a deep love for math and astrology. She insists that her scleras (the normally white part of the eye) are solid black as a result of a genetic mutation' the same mutation that gave her jet black wool instead of white like the rest of her family. Lambda is a little annoyed that her horns never finished growing, but most importantly, she wishes that she were taller (or that Lucky didn't have such a long neck!) so that she could kiss him without having to stand on the tips of her toes.

These are two characters that I really enjoyed making. They might not have much to do with the story that I'm working on currently, but I might find a place for them soon, as it was really fun to work on them!   Also, surprisingly, drawing characters with cloven hooves is actually just as difficult as drawing hands with normal fingers.   But I'm definitely up for doing this again, as it gave me a chance to experiment in a realm of art that I'm usually too afraid to enter.
