The city lights dimly twinkled on the train's dirty window as the rain quietly tapped on the glass. The woman gazed out into the darkness with a pensive look, where the city lights danced like distant memories. In this motionless moment, where the world was just a blurred painting, she was left alone with her thoughts, which roared in her head as loudly as a storm. She wondered if love was lurking somewhere among those colorful patches, or if it was just a fantasy people hold onto to ward off the cold of loneliness. Life had surprised her many times – sometimes with joy, other times with pain – but she had yet to know the feeling of love.
