Location: Deep in the Anubian Jungles, Southwest of the city of Lenjimbo
Date: 4-15, Anubian Rainy Season

---Start Transmission---

"Uh... Ungh..." Mindsend grits her teeth as she climbs the large tree, her fingers curled around a blackbulb vine as her boots slip on the bark of the BayoBayo tree. She looks up into the branches, the top of the canopy over a mile above the Draconian Glen Elf.

"You do realize your eventually going to have to stop joking around actually use the ramp, right Miss Lighttree?" A red haired Plains Elf sips some tea, his mock nonchalant attitude filling the air like a roaring flame, sitting cross-legged on the bags of supplies, as his rather long, upwards arching ears twitching in his attempts to hold back his laughter.

Mindsend’s eyes narrow, her face darkening, looking down about five feet below her at him as she pants, “Ha ha ha, Rou-En. The tree paths are covered, and only the ground dwelling Anubian people actually use the covered, and happen to be crowded. If we want to see some of the ones that live on the actual branches… Uhn… We will have to get to the branches like they do, and our guide said to meet him in the branches… So get climbing!”

“Um… Mindsend. As your friend, I want remind you something… I’m a Chaos Sage. You’re an Order Sorceress and a Storyweaver…” The elf sets his cup down, smirking.

Mindsend grits her teeth tighter, sweat pouring into her eyes as she climbs slowly up the thick vine, trying to get a grip on that slick bark, and tries to wipe her brow on the vine, “Yes, Rou-En… I know that… And your point?”

Rou-En lifts into the air and stands up, dusting off his pants, “Couldn’t we just fly?”

Mindsend clung to the tree for about a minute, no sound save for a soft “Stupid” each time she bonked her forehead on the tree’s side. She then leapt back down to the ground and hovered for a second, “Um…. Right.. Ahahaha, I was just testing you….”

Rou-en smiles sheepishly, chuckling along with her as he shouldered his pack, “Sure you were….”

“No, really, I was…”

“Ummm hmmm…” Crouching down, he grins broadly and leaps high into the air, landing on a branch, then waves down at her, “Oy! Mindsend! Found Rusty Already!”

With a sigh, Mindsend whispers under her breath, her eyes turning pure white for a second, and she spouts wings to meet their Blue Jean Panda guide.

Ooookay, so the story this time doesn't really involve Rusty, the Blue Jeans Panda (The Anubian equivilant of a Red Panda) but more on Mindsend and Rou-En, the main characters of my stories, who are Transdimensional diplomats as well as exporers... It also shows that Mindsend (Like me) gets grumpy and dimwitted in High heat and humidity.

This took me a while, mainly because the origonal file (which is going to the prints) is 20x36 inches and slowed my computer down... A LOT.

About the above Anubian Race:

They are based on the Red Panda, and like the Red Panda eat Bamboo shoots... Which is a good thing, since there are over a thousand types of bamboo in the jungles of Anubia.

The BlueJeans Panda eats a type of bamboo that is poisonous, which, back in prehistoric times made them inedible and saved the species from extinction.

The colors and most markings come from the Dendrobates Pumilio, or BlueJeans Dart Frog, since they are in many ways simular to the Red Pandas.

Unlike most of the Anubian Jungle People, the BlueJean Pandas are the only ones I actually tried to get a pattern and color simular to the real mammal, since the Red Panda is hard to recognize if the markings are too different.
