I could tell really cool and profound things about the colors, the technique and the lighting.

I think that that is an excellent peice. The way the colors work are excellent with the mood and the way the clothes creas and swirl about behind him a bit is very dramatic. And In response to an earlier comment, Pagans, dont beleive in evil, they beleive in positive and negative energy. This peice simply shows the darker side of things, withought wich there would not be a lighter side.

Excellently done, though I do think the dark robe, black and red as it is, makes it seem like you think pagans are evil. I'm impartial, being an aethiest, but I just noticed that detail.

The robe completes the whole picture it would just be another holy'er that thou (of the dark side) picture without it. the dark scheme blends and contrasts very nicely as well as the deep colors!!

Awesome piece of art, but speaking from a symbolic point of view, I gotta say - turn the pentagram over, please. Oriented that way it just means "The Magician," or someone under their protection, which I get the feeling isn't quite what you were after.
