One drawing of Layla wasn't enough.

While the other one was the first drawing of the cheerful goth, this time I decided to do something a bit more detailed. The idea that came to my mind was showing Layla in her room, having a fun time while playing with her Switch. As I was working on my notes for the story, I decided to also get a drawing. This time I went with my good friend MohMohpd

Not only he did a marvelous job, but he also suggested a few ideas and details. From the way she was playing with the Swtich to the details in her wall. Things like her own drawings, a few posters and a picutre of her and Charlie. Overall, he did a great job!

An Hypnotic DLC

Layla couldn’t wait to play the new Resident Evil game.

Being a fan of the franchise since the first time she played the games, the cheerful goth prepared herself to enjoy the remake of the 4. During one of their nights out, her best friend, Charlie, tossed the idea of playing some of the other games before going with the remake. They quickly agreed on playing the same games,with both having a different approach, also deciding to play some of their own personal favorites.

Layla went with the original version of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 6, but also added Zero just to have an excuse to play a game with her favorite character of the franchise, Rebecca Chambers. On the other hand, not only Charlie played the same games, but also decided to go with Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 5, the latter being the game he was playing at the moment. Both took their time with each game, preferring to play them together to have a better experience. It didn’t take long for Layla and Charlie to finish the games, leaving only the ones exclusive to their own lists.

Just as he was finishing with the last game on his list, Charlie’s copy of the game arrived at his apartment. The brown-haired guy was so happy about it that he stopped playing and went to call Layla, who didn't reply. What happened was that the cheerful goth took a pause from, getting distracted by something else.

She had this fixation for hypnosis, having an enjoyment in reading stories or looking at art that was related to that. It was one of the only things that she kept for herself, but a few weeks ago the goth gal revealed her fixation to her best friend, who understood and assured her nothing would change between the two. Thanks to that “kink” of her, the cheerful goth usually followed the work of some artists that did art related to hypnosis, and last night she got to enjoy two new posts from some artists she was a fan of.

First was a new story of IncredibleIntruder, one that had Silver and Wave, her two favorite Sonic characters. It was about the alluring avian, who was turned into a genie and used her new powers to take control over the psychic hedgehog. Not only that story had the usual things she liked to read, and the characters that she liked like the aforementioned two, Rouge and Amy, but what stood out for her was the drawing of Wave, which was drawn by Gangstargab.

Layla also saw the new play of Chum03, which had Rebecca Chambers and Ada Wong as the protagonist, the latter of the two being a genie and not her normal self. The genie used her powers to turn her into a cute princess, and the protector of her lamp. What the cheerful goth liked about the play were the drawings that Moh did, liking especially the way he drew Rebecca. Both projects also had this other artist, one that Layla couldn’t remember their name. The only thing she could remember was their liking for green spirals and preferences to work with Sonic characters for their hypnotic stories.

Upon seeing that Charlie tried to call her, the cheerful goth quickly called him back and apologized for not answering before. Of course, Charlie wasn’t angry, he even suggested coming to her apartment tomorrow as it was very late, and he had to get up earlier to check the project he was working on. Being surprised by how late it was, Layla decided to prepare for tomorrow, but not before seeing the two posts one last time before going to sleep, which was a difficult task as she was excited about playing the remake with her best friend.

Waking up earlier than usual, Layla tried to distract herself, hoping that would make time go faster. Thinking about what to do while putting on her favorite outfit, she decided to play a Resident Evil game, since that was the only thing in her mind. She picked up her Nintendo Switch and decided to play Resident Evil 6, mostly because she enjoyed Leon’s campaign.

This helped a lot as the cheerful goth stopped thinking about time and enjoyed her game. Things got better halfway through the campaign, when Charlie called her to reveal that he was going to arrive at her apartment in an hour. It was indeed something to be happy about, but in mid celebration, the cheerful goth got a notification on her Switch.

“Huh? A DLC? For this game? No way!” Layla said while smiling. The game was released more than 10 years ago, and out of nowhere she got a notification about a DLC. Not only was she going to enjoy the latest Resident Evil game, but it looked like she got the opportunity to play an exclusive DLC. Not wanting to wait, the cheerful goth quickly downloaded it and quickly turned it on, not aware about what was going to happen to her.

Once she started the game, the cheerful goth waited for the titles to appear, but for some reason it remained dark. At first, Layla thought that this was a problem with her Switch, but before she could turn it off, an image finally appeared on the screen. It wasn’t the game titles, but something very different.

“What’s…this?” Layla asked, confused about the strange image on her Switch. She could see the colors moving around the screen, as if they were trying to form a symbol. The goth gal was going to turn her Switch off, but the images on the screen were so…captivating. The colors were nice, a dark blue background with some bright and neon shades of blue, cyan, purple and pink moving around.

It didn’t take long for the colors to finally form a symbol, which was a spiral. The colors remained there, interchanging between each other as the spiral moved at a slow yet steady pace. During that, Layla remained still, admiring the colorful image as she stopped thinking about anything else.

“I think…I should…I should…” the goth gal had issues with what she wanted to do. The more she looked at the screen, the more dazed she felt. It was a good thing that she was sitting on her bed instead of standing as she couldn’t remain still, losing herself at the mercy of the colorful spiral that continued to delight her with its movement.

The idea of turning off her Switch started to fade away, being nothing more than a random thought that she discarded in exchange for looking at the hypnotic screen. She liked it, loved the colors and its movement, making her feel happy yet relaxed. While Layla still wasn’t sure what was happening, and a small part of her kept fighting against the idea of looking at the screen, the cheerful goth was enjoying it. As Layla continued admiring the colorful spiral, she noticed another symbol materializing itself.

“Repeat.”

At first, Layla was confused about the sudden presence of those words, not sure about their meaning. She decided not to think about it, instead putting all of her attention into the colorful and temping spirals on her Switch. Still, since the hypnotic image had an effect on her, the cheerful goth was open to listen and follow anything that the screen would show, and in this, it was a simple thing as more words appeared for her to see.

“Don’t look away.”

“Relax.”

“Go deep into the state of trance.”

“Deep into…trace…” Layla repeated calmly. While having a kink with hypnosis, the goth gal was oblivious to the fact that she was being hypnotized, mostly because

the spiral put her in a calm state, one that made it difficult to think on anything else than to remain silent and follow the images on the screen. Layla couldn’t describe how much she was enjoying this, being at the mercy of the spirals and repeating the ideas made her feel calm and a bit aroused.

Her heart started to beat faster, all while she started to blush, going deep into the state of trance as she continued admiring the colorful spirals. Even if there was some resistance there, the goth gal dropped any idea related to considering this as a bad thing, seeing it now as a treat, something that she should be happy to see and enjoy.

“Lose yourself in the spirals.”

“Let them take you into a calm state.”

“There’s nothing better than to stop fighting and to submit.”

“S-submit…” letting herself be controlled by those ideas was obviously a bad thing, that’s what Layla would normally think if she wasn’t that deep into the state of trance. Of course, the cheerful goth had one last moment of clarity, one where she analyzed her situation before going with the idea, not daring to fight back or to even think badly about it. “Submission is…is…good…”

She started to blush hard, becoming more aroused as she continued to look at the hypnotic screen. The goth gal quickly came to terms that this was good, strange yet good as she continued to admire the screen, giggling in pleasure as she wanted nothing more than to remain still and to admire the colorful and hypnotic view.

“You love the spirals.”

“You love the idea of becoming the slave of the spirals.”

“Stop thinkinking about anything else than isn’t this wonderful feeling that you love.”

I…I love this…” Layla said while smiling, quickly agreeing with the idea, seeing it as nothing but the truth. She loved the spirals, loved the way they moved and loved the colors that were on the screen. The goth gal saw this as what she always wanted, what she needed as she started to blush hard, letting herself be manipulated by the ideas, which she continued to repeat.

If submitting to the spirals meant that she was going to be happy and be in a continuous state of bliss then Layla was ready to give herself into this, to become a good servant and to follow any idea or command. This was her new role, as a loyal servant of the spirals, eager to show her commitment to being a servant. Of course, she had to be patient as there were more commands that she needed to remember, and more sessions in the future to turn her into the perfect servant.

“Later you’ll come back to watch this again.”

“You’ll forget everything, but the ideas will remain deep into your subconscious.”

“It’s time for you to wake up and to come back.”

Just as she tried to think about what happened, someone knocked on the door. Feeling that finding an answer to her question was going to take a while, the goth gal decided to leave that for later as put her boots on and went left her room to see who was knocking her door.

Upon opening it, the goth gal saw that it was Charlie, who not only had the game with him, but also bought some of her favorite chocolates and gummies. “Hey! I’m sorry for making you wait, I made a quick stop to bring some sweets to make up for my tardiness. But well, here I am. Ready?” Charlie said while smiling, eager to play the game with his best friend.

Originally, Layla was going to say yes, being that they waited so long for this to happen, but before that, the goth gal had other things in mind. “Yeah! But, normal if we have a moment with Resident Evil 6? For some reason I have this feeling that I should play it,” Layla said while smiling. Of course, being the desires of his best friend, Charlie went with what she wanted, mostly because he also enjoyed the game and wouldn’t mind waiting a bit.

While they enjoyed their game together, Layla stopped thinking about finding an answer to what happened before Charlie came. The only thing that remained was this strange yet nice feeling, one that made her feel calm and a bit aroused. Seeing it as something that wasn’t that important as she went on to play the game with her best friend.
