Arthur is the son of Celestia and Sombra (the good sombra from the comics) and is the prince of the sun. He's the first naturally born male alicorn and has taken care of the sun since he got his cutiemark as a filly.

Arthur is, like Moonshine, one of Princess Twilights' students, and he lives in canterlot with Twilight and his cousin Moonshine.

Arthur also has a special bond with Nightstar, which one might would call a crush.
