WALLPAPER HERE [link]

[Update 4]
- Fix a bug on MoreResult band when you use Windows Search. [link ]
- New glyph for Command Link. [link ]

gdipp is recommended if you like the effect of text like Mac OS and Linux distributions. [link ]

[Update 3]
- Change text color + Items for Taskbar toolbar. [link ]
- New style for Download window if you use IDM. [link ]
- New style for Command Link. [link ]
- Add new image + fix some problem for Vertical Taskbar. [link ]
- Black caption and white glow. [link ]

[Update 2]
- Add an image for ListItem on Taskbar Thumbnail.
- Use Segoe UI for Placelist instead of Corbel.

[Update 1]
- Fix wrong patch in theme file for Elune 1.
- Add en-US and Shell folder in Elune to fix problem with Command module and Detail pane.

[Note]
I didn't include explorer.exe because I updated my computer to Windows 7 SP1.
You can use Restorator to change yours by replacing BMP number 6801,6805 & 6809, so do explorerframe.dll

[How to install]
1. Install Universal Theme Patcher, re-patch again if you updated to SP1.
2. Copy everything in themes folder (Elune folder, Elune 1(Bottom), Elune 1 (Top)...) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
3. Take Ownership, rename the orignal to back up and replace modified explorerframe.dll in System32 folder.
4. Restart Windows & then select this theme in Personalize Menu

I'm not trying to be mean or anything
but i love the product its better than the snow leopard transformation (god i hated that thing)
but in the next update can you make the colors more brighter and richer in the right click menu and the max/min/close button (try to add aero to that, cuz in firefox it looks weird)
and add better pics of each the 3 stylles to choose from
I hope my opinion would make it to future update

Not working. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

1. Installed - Universal Theme Patcher x64 (Located under Tools)
2. Extracted Elune Folde (theme folder) and Placed it in the root folder C:Windows\Resources\Themes
3. Did Add Take Ownership Option.reg
4. Replaced exploreframe.dll in System32 and sysWOW64
5. Restarted.

**Elune Theme is not showing in Personalize Menu.
**Back tab changed but everything else are the same.

Install Universal Theme Patcher, re-patch again if you updated to SP1.
Copy files in themes folder (Elune folder, Elune 1(Bottom), Elune 1 (Top)...) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
That all you need

The most recent windows updates makes it so you have to patch one of your system files again. So if you're only getting a windows classic theme, check your patches.

So i replaced the ExplorerFrame.dll in both System32 and sysWOW64 (running Windows 7 x-64) and put the theme files in the themes folder (as well as the Elune folder containing the en-US and Shell folders). When I restarted and applied it, I got the new forward/back buttons, but everything else is still the same...

Install Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro is easier than Hackintosh a lot
I think some website can help you to that

I know, but i don't need Windows. OSX does everything for me. Maybe one day i will, when i need to experience the joy of Regedit, DLLs and driver incompatibility.

But anyway, awesome theme!

Pretty easy to install but is there any way to not have the font change?

BTW, for those of you having problems installing, it's because the theme files are not in the root directory but in the folder called 'themes'. So you only need to extract the contents of the theme folder into C:\windows\resources\themes

make sure you just extract the files in the folder theme into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes, not the whole .rar

This is a really amazing theme, more than worthy of a DD. I'm really likeing your theme and it adds some spice to the boring default theme. Just wondering what chrome theme you are using?

awesome theme

you should change the instructions though. the files in the THEME folder have to go into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes, not the whole .rar

It's because there is no .theme file in the root folder. How to fix?

I love this theme, but I noticed even when it's not running it overrides the default Win7 back/forward buttons in the top left of their UIs. Is there a reason for that? I noticed how you did such a nice job including rollback and uninstall files in the package, just wondered if there's a way to roll that back should I ever desire.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

HelioLukos In reply to kramaniraf [2011-03-24 00:45:09 +0000 UTC]

The explorerframe.dll is separate from the theme.

If you want the old explorer frame back, just restore the original explorerframe.dll

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 0

iSkwerl In reply to jinndtonic [2011-03-24 00:57:45 +0000 UTC]

Here's what I have done:

I extracted the .rar file into my downloads folder. I cut the files and folder within Elune/Themes and pasted them into C:/Windows/Resources/Themes . Since I have a 64-bit system, I cut the ExplorerFrame.dll from the x64 folder. I rename ExplorerFrame.dll in system32, then paste the replacement in. Then I patched the three files using Universal Theme Patcher. Then I restarted. I came back, looked into personalize and the themes were there. They all have grey backgrounds and a clear box. If I click any of them, it puts me into a Windows Classic theme.

I have tried also patching the files with the 32bit version of Universal Theme Patcher, there were 2. Made no difference after restarting.
