Starry was born on the day that Sonic and his team went into space, that's why she was inspired by the blue hedgehog. Even a little curiosity helped Starry achieve her dream (she accidentally ended up in space after she accidentally launched a space rocket). She is inseparable from her best friend Sarah, and many of her friends - Lila, Anastasia, Galax, Blossom, Mark the Comet Chaser, Iron (aka. Sector N 14) and many others - always help her.
