Description
I'm done with her. I'll leave her like this. mostly because I couldn't get the clothing right, it frankly looked bad, so I'll leave her in the nude. I like her like she is.she is also the first 120g/m papercraft I've made! all the previous are made of 80g/m paper. it's much harder to get right with thin paper. I feel like I'll never go back to it after I've tried to build in 120 and thicker.

she's the best zelda character imo.

Thanks for building mine and Squeezy's template! Looks lovely in this pic!
May I ask what problems you had with the cloak? (don't worry I'm not sneering or anything, I know I found it awkward to manipulate and it was a damn pain to work on during the editing stage too)

I couldn't get it to curl around her. I tried not to fold it, but I might've done better if I had folded it on some key areas, but I thought it would look off if the rest was in smooth style. I might rebuild it some time in the future.
also, THANK YOU for making it!!! seriously! I've waited and hoped for really good midna templates so you made one of my building dreams come true. I really liked building her, even though I really prefer to fold I didn't, and I really love the result, even though it isn't fully built.
thank you (both) for making this awesome template! keep up the good work! <3

Yes due to the thickness of my paper I found it hard to get it to keep its curled in shape too. Strong folding, not by the lines, just uh squashing it more than you should helped a bit. I kept thinking I've spent so long editing/building the body that it would be a shame to permanently cover it up. :/ Yet without gluing the cloak to the body, it can become very loose.
And you're welcome! She was always someone I wanted to build too but the starting model was in a terrible state for papercrafting so no one had been successful in previous attempts: [link] (eep!). But through editing experience and our collab I'm really happy we got it done!

ok, I'll try that! I have the unused cape and skirt in a box with unfinished projects.
wow! that is one rough sketch if I ever saw one. you did a really great job! ^_^
would it be terribly rude of me to ask if you could make a template for her in imp form too? it's one of my two biggest dream builds. (the other one is the bath house from spirited away ^_^)

Heheh well the thing about Imp Midna is that back in September I was working on the 3D file of her Smash Bros. Brawl trophy. I never finished it and started on one of my Mass Effect models instead, but if I remember she was fairly close to being ready for the unfold stage. Maybe I'll take another look sometime.
