Sort of a part 2 to this...

In addition to the thing I drew earlier, I felt compelled to draw a bunch of concepts for Link from my upcoming angstfest totk fic To Lose Oneself. As I said before, basic gist is that Link doesn't get Rauru's cool ass arm and is instead left with a gloom-corrupted arm that's only getting worse as things go along. He spends the first several chapters just trapped in the depths trying to survive because, like I said, Rauru's arm doesn't save him, so he just tumbles right down into the depths after watchin' Zelda disappear.

What this does to our poor boy is it basically tears him apart from the inside out gradually. Makes him sick/weak/susceptible to gloom/blood moons, etc. Of course, he does get help from Purah, who uses spare guardian parts to build a neat protective glove for him to keep him from spreading that gloom accidentally. Except, of course, in the rare cases where even that fails to keep the gloom at bay...
