i just finished the first part of my project on the 151 first generation pokemonit is 44,544 beads and 1.27 meters wide and 87 cm high.
the finished piece will be 2.25 meter high..
it's made from hama and nabbi beads (aka. other brands of perler beads)

i have the sprites on my computer, and do it from them 
change the colours though, becasue i dont have that many avalible colours

I want to buy this from you so badly! I don't know if you would sell it anyway, but I'm sure there would be so many problems with trying to ship it from Denmark to the US intact. Plus I imagine the shipping costs would be pretty insane. Cry myself to sleep tonight wishing I were as epic as you.

Wow this is amazing! I was reading your method of using double sided tape and epoxy. Could you please share a link of the exact epoxy you used to bind together this project. Please please!!! I love making large projects but the ironing is a huge nightmare I've been looking for a way around it and your method sounds perfect

I use laminating epoxy, the same as you would use on a boat.
if you want a link it's from here but it's a danish store..
one way to do it is this one I used for my adventure time piece, think I actually prefer that method. (don't use double sided tape here)

thank you for the advice it is incredibly helpful, looking forward to good results. It turns out i actually made the adventure time adventure time perler from your design, here is a link. i was looking for something huge to make for my new born daughters room, we named her marceline. making it was addicting and fun but ironing it was a huge mess. i always use the duct tape method now but some beads sunk in from ironing, no one really cared but i do lol. so thank you for the help i cant wait to see more of your work in the future

ja jeg tog vist fejl af dig og en anden hvis billede jeg klikkede på lige før. Jeg har selv specialiseret mig i mini, arbejder lige nu på et lille project 5*6*56^2 som viser en scene fra netop adventure time

5*6*56^2 altså 94.000? eller er der noget jeg har misforstået
ved ikke helt hvordan du kommer op på 3 dimensioner hvoraf den ene er i anden..
har meget overvejet at starte med at arbejde i mini, men har ikke rigtig råd til at begynde, og kan også godt lide en større farve palette (det fylder bare så fandens meget)

56^2 er størrelsen på en miniplade, jeg bruger den som standard og laver en hel blok på 56^2 styger den og laver så den næste ved siden af.
De andre to er antallet af brikker i højde og brede.
mini har nu næsten de samme farver som medi og det flyder meget mindre.
jeg synes det er rart at komme igang igen med at lave perler, efter jeg blev færdig med mit mesterværk var jeg kørt lidt ned og der gik lang tid før jeg kunne starte igen. Jeg havde planlagt motivet "What's wrong with you" før min ulykke
