Description
collaboration with *srgioBoth of us love to draw Adriana Lima, so we picked out a reference photo and he drew it in pencil. He took a picture of his drawing, and then sent the photo of his work to me to color digitally.
This turned out really differently from the way that I'd planned on doing it. I was going to make it more stylized, with a purplish color scheme. I opened up his drawing in Opencanvas, throwing around realistic colors just to experiment with the brush options. Before I knew it, the coloring was half-done. I ended up finishing the entire piece before he'd even sent me the final version of the drawing. I've been trying to avoid too-literal copies of photos, so maybe I'll try coloring this again with the style I had in mind for it.
I hope he uploads the drawing to his gallery, because it really is beautiful.

Very nice work; both you and srgio. It's so realistic it's hard for me to believe that this isn't a photo.
I wish that I could buy a copy of this. Is that at all possible?

I am so jealous of your work! I wished to reach the level of skill that you are at. Truly amazing. She is very seductive. Her stare just drags you into the painting.

This is such a gorgeous rendering. I would LOVE to see the steps. Take a look at my own 'Patricia', and please tell me what I can improve on. Again, it is my first and only coloring and it evolved from a freehand sketch of a model named Patricia Ford. Her face changed a bit, but I like it . It took me forever because I had to do everything with a mouse =/. I'd love to develop this as a hobby and I am working on receiving a wacom tablet (my fiancee loves my art)
. So please, any critique/help would be greately appreciated.

I forgot if I even commented on this! But I will again. I love this. The painting is beautifully done and it looks wonderfully real. I think the reflection looks awesome, and the subtle sheens on the dress make it look great. AWESOME collab

I think this is mighty impressive missy! To be honest I'm more fond of the stuff you draw on your own... it feels so utterly YOU! But this is awesome... the meeting of two great artists. Your colouring style is stunning (I WANT PAINTER!!!)... fresh and beautiful... and his drawing is to a very high standard.
Extremely sexy. Extremely gorgeous. Strong but feminine. Naughty but nice.
You rock!

Thanks sweetie.
Painter is wonderful, and I think you would lovelovelove it. I didn't do this one in painter, though. I did it in Opencanvas, which is really cheap if you get version2, and FREE if you get version1. I can link you up if you want. The download is tiny, like 1mb.
