An update to a piece I did a few months ago.Drawn in photoshop. I used a webcam shot of me as a reference for the pose. A friend asked for print of this, so I reworked it into print size for her. It was quite a painful process on my slow computer. Hopefully it will be approved for daprints soon.

I've been staring at this for quite some time
I love how she radiates with class, and how everything around and about her further defines her femininity, there's something very attractive about her confidence and sort of... indifference; the combination of firey red, gold and black create a stunning effect

I seen this piece around DA and DAPrints since quite a while ago, but I never actually clicked on it to see it with careful attention... until now, and I'm glad I did, because being a fan of digital painting I have to admit that this is probably the best work of such style that I ever seen here. the colours are amazing, the gradients are perfect... and the weird angle is awesome!

Wow, when I first saw this I thought it was acrylic. It's a really great piece. The look on her face is so sultry and sexy, and the pose, the composition, the color... Something in it reminds me of the 50s, 60s. I don't know what, but I love it.

I like the seventies style that used 4 this one and the strong similaritie to older poses of Marylin Monroe. What's very beautiful is the strong focusation on the painted impression. It's very rich in details and also kind of realistic, but still it's a very own paint style. You never have the impression that the photorealism is intended, it seems just a nice addition to the pure paint element. It even seems like you intended to reduce the details to avoid a bit the sterile photo look. What's also very interesting here is the very strong colourisation. The red of her lips is like a deep blood tone and the blonde hairs are just super-blond. This exaggeration ( if it is intended or not doesn't matter ) supports very well the movie like seventies pose that you could also find in an early seventies film. Her facial expression let you think that she has to be a movie star and that she knows about the effect of her appearance and posing. I think you developed your style a lot with this piece. You use now fewer shadows and lights, but they are exactly positioned and only there where they are necessary. Great work ( what else from U ? )

Super stuff. I love the flow of the hair, I love the interplay of colors. Really good shadow work under the chin, also. I'm not crazy about how the red carpet fades away, but it's definitely forgivable and definitely a FAV.
