Of your newer pieces this ranks as one of my favorites - it reminds me a bit of your older work which felt slightly mythological and also very alone- sort of escapist. I guess this picture isn't that new anymore, it doesn't feel like that long ago that you submitted it. : )

I love this picture! The Lamp maker has a playful and pensive expression at the same time. His companion instead seems to slumber, waiting to resume their journey to who knows where! And the little crows below!!! So cute!
