🐾 Knuckles 🐾
2011 - 2023

The first time meeting Knuckles was in 2015; He was energetic and curious. And greeted us in his way by biting our hands. At first, I wasn’t sure about knuckles. But after so many years, I learned that he was a kind cat. I'm going to miss Knuckles joining me on walks after the rain would stop, even with the wet grass and mud; Knuckles still followed me only then to jump on my shoulders (leaving cute paw prints on my hoodie) so I could carry him until we went back inside. And moments Knuckles would hang out with me as I worked on pieces, resting on my arm or tablet, constantly reminding me that it was good to take breaks, and hearing him purr always comforted me.

He always wanted to be around to see what we were doing and be a part of it. Like whenever my sisters and I talked, knuckles would join in with meows. Or when he would sit with us at the dinner table, making the cutest face to convince us to share some of what we were eating. (I often couldn't resist his cuteness and would cave in.)

Another thing I liked about Knuckles was his almost completely orange coat, with a small white spot on his chest. My sisters’ would say he was a creamsicle with a bite mark. And his paws, too; he was the first cat I’ve seen with an extra toe bean to squish. Knuckles also had iris melanosis in his right eye, which always worried me, but thankfully it was a harmless change to his eye color over time, making him even more special.

Knuckles was an extraordinary cat I've ever met. Very kind and sweet, he kept us company on our lowest days. I miss him greatly, and it won't be the same without him.
